Sean Cutshall 04/27/70 to 09/30/14
Sean Cutshall was our first Board Member and a genuine friend to LEOSA. he served as prosecutor with the State Attorney's Office before going out on his own. He was a brilliant man with a kind heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.
LEOSA began in October of 2011 as the Law Enforcement Officer Surfing Association Inc. as a way to bring law enforcement officers together and promote safety while surfing. After the first meeting, founders Stephen Fernez, Brandon Gish, and Troy Deavers decided that they had even grander aspirations and that was to fill a void in drug education left by budget cuts. The team created a drug awareness program and presented the idea to Brevard County School Board members, the Parent Leadership Team, and Sheriff Jack Parker. The results were astounding and before the founders realized it they were teaching to schools, churches, and community groups. As time passed the program gained national attention via news media and quickly worked on events to help promote drug awareness statewide.
